method

Mini Pizza Tacos

  1. Get your pizza oven nice and hot.
  2. Divide the 250g dough ball into 3 equal sized balls.
  3. Roll out 3 pizza bases about 7” in diameter using a rolling pin.
  4. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the mini base, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle with taco seasoning.
  6. Spread your taco fillings over.
  7. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese over - the cheese will melt and hold all the toppings together.
  8. Carefully transfer the mini pizzas to your peel - remember to dust the peel with some flour or semolina to stop the dough from sticking.
  9. Bake in the pizza oven for about 2 minutes.
  10. Once the pizzas are out of the oven, fold each in half and pop in a taco holder.
  11. Garnish with sliced lettuce, slices of avocado or gaucamole, then a drizzle of sour cream and hot sauce.
