Questions about Ordering

Can I add or remove products from my order?

Can I cancel my order?

We're happy to help out with the returns processif your order has already been dispatched. If for any reason you need to return an order, please email us - info@babadoh.com

What methods of payment do you accept?

Online we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna. We do not accept cheques or cash.

Where is my order confirmation?

You will receive a confirmation email/text to the email/mobile number you provide at checkout as soon as you have placed an order. Please check your spam/junk folders. If you have not received an order confimation, please contact us.

Do you offer a gift wrap service?

Unfortunately, we don't offer this service.

Do you accept international orders?

We currently ship to the UK mainland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man and to EU countries.

What if I am charged import tax for an EU delivery?

Babadoh is a registered company in Northern Ireland. The NI protocol allows goods to flow from Northern Ireland to the EU without customs checks, tariffs or new paperwork.

You should not be charged import tax on your order.

What can I do if something is wrong with my order?

We're sorry about this. If your order is missing, has arrived damaged or is incorrect, please email us info@babadoh.com with a description of the problem and a clear image of the damaged item(s) so that we can resolve this for you.

What happens if the colours I choose are out of stock?

We try to keep the website up to date, however sometimes particular colours sell out quickly. We understand this can be frustrating, so when this does happen we will try our best to let you know how soon it is coming back into stock.

Delivery

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery is free of charge for orders over £15 to the UK mainland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. A delivery charge of £3.50 will be added for orders below £15.

Delivery to Europe costs from £7.50. The total delivery cost will be calculated at checkout based on the size of your order.

Who deliverys your parcels?

We use DHL, DPD, UPS or FedEx for deliveries, depending on the delivery location.

How long will delivery take?

Delivery to the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland takes 2 business days.

Delivery to Europe is usually within 3-5 business days.

Can I track my order?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email and/or text as soon as your order is dispatched, with a tracking number.

Can I change my delivery address once I have placed my order?

Changes to orders can only be made if your order hasn't been dispatched from our warehouse. Please email us with your order number - info@babadoh.com

Will I be charged custom and import costs?

Custom or import charges are not applicable for orders within the UK. 

In Europe, local customs officers may charge import duties. Please make them aware that the item is shipped from Northern Ireland, within the European Union and you should not pay the charges.

Babadoh cannot reimburse any duties or fees charged by local customs.

Returns

Can I exchange an item?

If you wish to exchange your purchase, please email us - info@babadoh.com - for instructions on how to return your unused item(s) and place a new order. Your return will be refunded once it has been received and checked.

How do I arrange the return of an item?

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it unused, in the original condition and packaging, within 14 days, and we will refund the purchase price to you.

How much does it cost to return an item?

If you are returning items that are damaged or faulty on arrival, Babadoh will cover the costs for return shipping.

We don't offer a free returns service unless the items you are returning are damaged or faulty. The cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

How will I know you have refunded me?

Once we have received your returned items, we'll send you an email confirming if a refund is approved or not.

If approved, we'll credit the card used to pay for the order and send you a confirmation email.

Your refund should be processed within 10 days of the item(s) being received at our warehouse. However, please allow up to 20 working days for the refund to appear in your bank account.

If you have not received your refund in this time, please contact us so we can investigate.

Dough Proofing Containers

What kind of silicone do you use?

Babadoh Dough Proofing Containers are made from premium LFGB-standard food-grade silicone that meets EU and US testing standards and can be used for years and years.

Are your Dough Proofing Containers food safe?

Babadoh Dough Proofing Containers comply with German BfR and US FDA food contact material standards, which means they are food-safe and do not leach any nasty chemicals into your food.

What size are Babadoh Dough Proofing Containers?

Original Babadoh dimensions are h6.4 x w13.4 x d12.2cm, and sized to proof pizza dough balls for pizzas up to 12".

Babadoh Big dimensions are h7.3 x w13.4 x d14.6cm, and sized to proof pizza dough balls for pizzas between 12 and 16".

Are the containers freezer, microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe?

Yes, the containers are safe to use in the freezer, microwave, oven (keep the heat below 200°C) and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. 

How do I clean a Babadoh Container?

The containers are dishwasher safe, or hand-wash with hot soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach.

If you smell some lingering food odours, clean with a paste made from baking soda and water. Coat the inside with the paste for half an hour, then rinse and dry. 

Dough Balls & Pizza Kits

Orders

Dough Balls and Pizza Kits are shipped within the UK only. We are unable to deliver to the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Scottish Islands.

Deliveries

Refer to the delivery schedule for Dough Balls and Pizza Kits.

Delivery of Dough Balls and Pizza Kits is made by DPD from Great Balls of Flour.

They aim to have your order delivered on the day stated in the delivery schedule according to the day an order is placed.

Customers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address. If you fail to provide a correct address or partial address, your order may not be delivered.

Customers are responsible for providing a correct email address and mobile number. If you fail to provide these, you will not receive the courier notifications or tracking information.

You will receive shipping and delivery notifications via email and text message.

You will be provided a one-hour delivery slot, via email and text message, on the date of delivery.

It is your responsibility to act on these notifications and select DPD 'in flight' options to leave with a neighbour or leave in a safe place as necessary.

We recommend you do not opt to change the delivery date. Due to the perishable nature of the product, delaying a delivery date using DPD’s 'in flight' option is at your own risk. DPD do not store the parcel overnight in a chilled environment. Where a customer has selected to delay the delivery date of an order after Great Balls of Flour has passed the package to DPD, Great Balls of Flour are not responsible for damaged or spoiled packages. A refund or replacement will not be provided in these circumstances.

There will be an attempted delivery on the date the courier has provided a one-hour time slot. If no DPD 'in flight' options have been provided, the driver will leave the order at your property. You are responsible for providing the driver with delivery instructions e.g. safe place.

Due to the nature of perishable products, Great Balls of Flour, their courier partners or Babadoh are not liable for items stolen after delivery or perishable items that have spoiled due to incorrect storage after delivery. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Perishable items spoiled due to delivery delays caused by a customer e.g. customers delaying deliveries with DPD's 'in flight' options will not result in a refund or replacement.
  • Stolen items as a result of a customer not providing a secure safe place to the courier will not result in a refund or a replacement.
  • Perishable items spoiled due to a customer’s nominated safe place being unsuitable for perishable goods e.g. greenhouse, front door step in direct sunlight will not result in a refund or replacement.
Returns

As Dough Balls and Pizza Kit items are chilled perishable food items we cannot accept food returns for any reason.

Allergens

Please check the ingredients tab in each product for specific allergen information.

Great Balls of Flour wheat based dough balls have ingredients that include wheat and barley based products which means they will contain gluten. Dairy cheese products contain milk which means they will contain lactose.

Some Great Balls of Flour products are freshly prepared in their kitchen where there may be traces of gluten, nuts and other allergens. Great Balls of Flour do not have dedicated preparation areas and there may be a risk of cross contamination, with the exception of gluten free dough balls which are prepared separately.
